About Client:
Butter Protein Club is a health-focused restaurant brand based in Pererenan, Bali. The brand is growing and is developing its own products, and it is building a strong team to support this next stage. Join us and help shape how Butter Protein Club sources, produces, and grows.

What You Will Contribute:
As the Purchasing Manager, your core contribution is improvement: finding better suppliers, better prices, and better ways of buying, without lowering quality. You will work in the field as much as in the office, visiting vendors and factories, building supplier relationships, and turning the brand’s ideas, including its own product development, into practical sourcing and production plans. This is a hands-on role with direct influence on cost, quality, and the brand’s growth.

What You Will Do:

Sourcing & Supplier Development

●      Source, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers for ingredients, packaging, and equipment.

●      Visit vendors, factories, and producers regularly to check quality, capacity, and compliance, and to build lasting relationships.

●      Maintain a reliable supplier network with backup options for key items.

Cost Improvement

●      Review current purchasing, prices, and spend, and identify where costs can be reduced without lowering quality.

●      Compare quotations, negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules, and prepare clear cost comparisons.

●      Standardize item specifications and improve purchasing processes across the business.

Product Development & Expansion Support

●      Support the development of the brand’s own products by coordinating with contract manufacturers, including sourcing, sampling, costing, trial production, and timelines.

●      Support the purchasing and sourcing needs of new outlets and expansion plans.

●      Collect and assess samples against agreed specifications and report findings.

Coordination & Reporting

●      Work closely with operations, kitchen, and finance teams to understand requirements and carry out improvement initiatives.

●      Report regularly to the Director on savings, price comparisons, supplier performance, and project progress.

Who We’re Looking For:

Must-Have

●        Minimum 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or sourcing in F&B, food manufacturing, hospitality, or a related industry.

●        Proven track record in supplier negotiation and cost reduction, with solid understanding of pricing, costing, and quotation comparison.

●        Experience sourcing directly from vendors, producers, or manufacturers, and comfortable visiting them on site.

●        Strong analytical skills and good command of Excel or Google Sheets for price comparisons and cost analysis.

●        Confident communicator and negotiator in Bahasa Indonesia and English, with a proactive, self-driven working style.

●        Willing to travel frequently to vendors and factories, with own motorbike or car and a valid driving license (SIM).

●        Based in or willing to be based near Pererenan, Bali.

Nice to Have (Will Set You Apart)

●        Experience working with contract manufacturers (maklon) or developing private-label food and beverage products.

●        Background in healthy food, protein products, or fast-moving consumer goods.

●        Experience supporting multi-outlet operations or business expansion.

●        Knowledge of food safety standards and product legality, such as BPOM and halal requirements.
