Job title – Senior Technician, Creation, P&B

Location – Jakarta Tanah Abang, Indonesia

The Senior Technician, Creation, P&B is responsible for compounding fragrance oil and will work closely with perfumer and cross functional team. This function will be based in dsm-firmenich Tanah Abang and reporting to Creation and Application Lab Manager who is based at the same location.

Your key responsibilities

• Compound fragrance oils with high accuracy as per requests and due delivery date applying good laboratory practices.
• Organize and maintain fresh and up-to-date collection of raw materials.
• Ensure completion of requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized workplace.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and propose viable actions.

You bring

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in chemistry or relevant studies. Minimum 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Positive work attitude, able to work independently and or in a team.
• Operates with a team spirit mindset and supports colleagues under high workload situation.
• Effective communication in Indonesian and English is a plus.
• Pays attention to detail, discipline, careful and organized.
• Prior experience in a fragrance laboratory environment is advantageous.
